Method
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Gently fold in raisins.

Bake

Cool and Cut
Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
