Method

Prepare Turkey Breast

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Prepare Turkey

In a small bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create a glaze.

3

Glaze Turkey

Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and brush the glaze generously over the turkey. Reserve some glaze for basting.

4

Roast Turkey

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, basting with the reserved glaze every 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

5

Rest Turkey

Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Make Cranberry-Apple Compote

6

Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, diced apple, sugar, water, and a cinnamon stick.

7

Cook Compote

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, until the cranberries burst and the apples are tender.

8

Cool Compote

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Discard the cinnamon stick before serving.

Prepare Turkey Gravy

9

Make Gravy

In a saucepan, combine turkey drippings or broth with flour, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until blended.

10

Thicken Gravy

Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

11

Serve Gravy

Once thickened, remove from heat and keep warm until ready to serve.
