Method

Prepare the Espresso Base

1

Brew the Espresso

Start by brewing 1 cup of espresso using your preferred method (espresso machine, Moka pot, etc.). Once brewed, set aside to cool slightly.

2

Mix with Coffee Liqueur

In a mixing glass, combine the brewed espresso with 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur. Stir well to combine and allow to cool further.

Combine the Spirits

3

Mix Vodka

In a shaker filled with ice, add 1.5 oz of vodka to the espresso and coffee liqueur mixture. Shake well until chilled.

Add Flavor Enhancers

4

Incorporate Orange Zest

Add 1 teaspoon of orange zest to the shaker with the other ingredients. Shake gently to incorporate the zest flavor.

5

Drizzle Caramel Sauce

Drizzle 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce into the mixture, stirring gently to combine without losing the frothiness.

Prepare the Cream Topping

6

Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form. You can add a little sugar or vanilla extract to sweeten it slightly if desired.

Assemble the Drink

7

Build the Drink

In a serving glass, pour the espresso mixture over ice or straight, depending on your preference. Top with the whipped cream.

8

Garnish

Finish by drizzling additional caramel sauce over the whipped cream and garnish with a sprinkle of orange zest for an extra burst of flavor.
