Tilapia Preparation

Method

Tilapia Preparation

1

Marinate the Tilapia

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Place the tilapia fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fillets are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Preheat the Grill

While the tilapia is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). If you are using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stovetop.

3

Grill the Tilapia

Remove the tilapia from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks. If using a grill pan, cook similarly.

4

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the tilapia from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
