Place the bottle of Loscano Torrontés in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or in an ice bucket filled with ice and cold water for 20–30 minutes to bring it to a serving temperature of approximately 8–10°C (46–50°F).

Chill the Bottle

If using an ice bucket, fill it about halfway with ice, add a small amount of cold water to ensure even chilling, then nestle the bottle in the ice.

Set out 4 white wine glasses (or appropriate white wine glasses) so they’re ready for pouring. If you prefer slightly cooler wine, place the glasses in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes beforehand.

Thinly slice the lemon and half orange crosswise into rounds. Remove any seeds. Keep slices chilled on a small plate in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Gently rinse the mint sprigs and pat dry. Trim stems so they fit comfortably into your wine glasses as a light aromatic garnish.

Just before serving, add one lemon or orange slice (or a half-slice) and one mint sprig to each glass for a subtle aromatic lift that complements Torrontés’ floral notes. Do not muddle or crush the mint; it should be a gentle accent.

Prepare the cheese: Let the goat cheese sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes so it softens and develops flavour.

Toast baguette slices: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 6–8 minutes until edges are golden and crisp. Remove and cool slightly.

Assemble the plate: Place softened goat cheese on a small board or plate. Drizzle the cheese with 2 tbs honey. Arrange toasted baguette slices, green olives, and Marcona almonds around the cheese for easy nibbling.

Serve the pairing plate alongside the chilled Loscano Torrontés. The wine’s floral aromatics and bright acidity complement the tangy goat cheese, honey, and salty nuts/olives.

Chill the Loscano Chardonnay to 8–10°C (46–50°F). Place the bottle in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes or refrigerate 2–3 hours before serving. Pour glasses about one-third full to allow aromatics to open. Reserve about 60 ml (1/4 cup) from the bottle to use in the scallop pan sauce.

Chill and Serve

Pat scallops dry with paper towels. Remove and discard the small side muscle if still attached. Season both sides lightly with kosher salt (about 1 tsp distributed) and freshly ground black pepper (about 1/2 tsp). Lightly dust both sides with 2 tbs all-purpose flour, shaking off excess.

Prepare Scallops

Heat a large stainless steel or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add 1 tbs extra-virgin olive oil and 1 tbs unsalted butter. When butter foams and oil shimmers, add scallops in a single layer without crowding (work in two batches if necessary). Sear undisturbed for 1.5–2 minutes until a deep golden crust forms. Flip and sear the other side for 1–1.5 minutes until just cooked through (internal temperature around 50–54°C / 122–129°F). Transfer scallops to a warm plate and tent loosely with foil.

Cook Scallops

Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tbs unsalted butter to the skillet. Add minced garlic (2 cloves) and sauté 20–30 seconds until fragrant but not browned. Pour in 60 ml (1/4 cup) reserved Loscano Chardonnay and scrape any brown bits from the pan with a wooden spoon. Let wine reduce by about half (about 1–2 minutes). Stir in 1 tbs fresh lemon juice and 1 tsp lemon zest. Swirl the pan to emulsify the sauce with the butter and allow it to thicken slightly (30–45 seconds). Season to taste with a pinch more salt and a small grind of black pepper.

Make Lemon Butter Pan Sauce

Return scallops to the skillet for 20–30 seconds to warm through and coat them in the sauce. Remove from heat. Spoon sauce over scallops, sprinkle with 2 tbs chopped parsley. Arrange microgreens or baby arugula on warmed plates, place scallops on top, and drizzle with any remaining sauce. Serve immediately alongside chilled Loscano Chardonnay poured into glasses.

Finish & Plate

Bring 2 cups vegetable or chicken stock to a simmer in a small saucepan. Add 1 cup orzo and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender and most liquid is absorbed, about 8–10 minutes. If needed, add a splash of hot water or stock to reach desired tenderness.

Cook Orzo

Off the heat, stir in 1 tbs unsalted butter and 2 tbs finely grated Parmesan until creamy. Stir in 1 tbs chopped parsley, 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste), and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Keep warm until scallops are ready. Spoon a serving alongside scallops and garnish with an extra sprinkle of parsley and Parmesan if desired.

Place the bottle in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours before serving, or place it in an ice bucket filled with a 1:1 mixture of ice and water for 20–30 minutes until it reaches 8–12°C (46–54°F). Use the wine cooler or ice bucket if available.

Chill the bottle

Select clean white wine glasses. Gently rinse with cold water and let them air dry or dry with a lint-free cloth to avoid warming the glass with your hands. Use one glass per guest.

Prepare glassware

Remove the capsule or foil from the top of the bottle. Center the corkscrew on the cork and twist in smoothly until the spiral is nearly fully inserted. Pull the cork out in a steady upward motion, keeping the bottle stable. Wipe the rim with a clean cloth.

Open the bottle

If you prefer, pour the wine slowly into a decanter to allow gentle aeration for 10–15 minutes. This can help open aromas, especially if the wine has some oak influence. Decanting is optional for a young Reserva Chardonnay but can enhance bouquet for some palates.

Hold the glass by the stem and pour about 120–150 ml (4–5 oz) per serving. Fill to roughly one-third of the glass to allow room to swirl and release aromas.

Pouring

Before tasting, gently swirl the wine in the glass to release aromatics. Note typical Chardonnay characteristics: citrus (lemon, lime), stone fruit (peach, nectarine), possible white flowers, and subtle oak or vanilla if barrel-aged. Take a small sip, let it coat the palate, and observe acidity, fruit, oak influence, and finish.

Serve at 8–12°C. If the wine warms too much, return to the ice bucket for a few minutes. If slightly too cold, let it sit in the glass for 5–10 minutes to open up.

Arrange soft cheeses like Brie or goat cheese with toasted baguette slices or crackers. Offer citrus slices for a bright contrast. Serve these alongside the wine; the wine's acidity balances creamy cheeses.

Cheese board

Lightly season and grill shrimp or scallops (about 250 g for 3–4 people). Cook over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly charred. Serve warm with lemon slices. The wine's citrus and stone fruit notes complement shellfish.

Seafood pairing

Small bites and light salads also match well—think green salads with vinaigrette, roasted vegetables, or mildly spiced poultry.

Recork the bottle (use original cork or stopper) and store upright in the refrigerator. Consume within 3–5 days for best freshness. If you used a decanter, return any remaining wine to the bottle before refrigerating if possible.

Chill glass

If you prefer your Blue Moon served over ice (some prefer straight from the bottle/can), add 4 ice cubes to the chilled glass. Note that adding ice will dilute the beer slightly as it melts and will change mouthfeel.

Open the 16 oz bottle or can of Blue Moon. Hold the chilled glass at a slight angle (about 45 degrees). Begin pouring the beer slowly down the side of the glass to reduce excessive foaming.

When the glass is about half full, begin to straighten the glass and pour toward the center to create a modest head of foam (about 1/2 to 1 inch). Adjust pour speed to control foam.

Cut a fresh orange slice and place it on the rim of the glass or drop the slice into the beer. The orange complements the beer’s citrus and coriander notes.

Garnish

Serve immediately. Recommend enjoying at 40–45°F (4–7°C) for best flavor.

If the Bud Light is not already cold, place the 16 oz bottle or can in a refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours. For rapid chilling, submerge the bottle or can in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes or place in a freezer for 20–30 minutes (do not forget it in the freezer to avoid freezing/rupturing).

Chill beer (if not already cold)

If you prefer your beer extra cold, place a clean pint glass in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or the freezer for 10–15 minutes prior to serving.

Chill glass (optional)

If serving from a can: hold the 16 oz can upright on a flat surface. With a clean hand, lift and pull the tab to open. If serving from a bottle: grip the bottle firmly and use a bottle opener to remove the cap.

To pour into a chilled glass: hold the glass at a 45° angle and begin pouring the Bud Light gently down the side of the glass. When the glass is about half full, slowly bring it upright and finish pouring to achieve a 1/2 to 1-inch (1–2 cm) head of foam. Pouring straight down will produce more foam; adjust technique to your preference.

If serving directly from the can or bottle: simply sip from the opening. Note that drinking from the glass will release more aroma, while drinking from the can/bottle is more casual and portable.

If you like a citrus accent: run a lemon or lime wedge around the rim of the glass and drop the wedge into the beer or rest it on the rim. This is optional and not traditional for Bud Light but can add a bright note.

If using ice in a cooler or bucket to keep multiple beers cold: fill the cooler or bucket with the indicated ice and place the bottle(s)/can(s) into it. Do not add ice directly into the beer—this will dilute it.

Keep a lime wedge on hand to serve with the beer. Some drinkers prefer to squeeze a little lime into the beer or simply garnish the glass by placing the wedge on the rim.

Open the chilled 16 oz Modelo carefully to preserve carbonation.

Tilt the chilled glass at a 45-degree angle and pour the Modelo slowly down the side until the glass is about three-quarters full, then straighten the glass and finish pouring to create a 1/2–1 inch head of foam. If using ice for rapid chilling, fill a bucket with ice and cold water, add the beer for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally until chilled. Remove and dry before opening.

Optional rapid chilling

If you want a salted rim, wet the outer lip of the chilled glass lightly with water (or a thin slice of lemon) and gently dip the lip into a small plate of salt to coat. This step is optional and not traditional for Stella Artois.

Hold the bottle or can upright on a steady surface and open with a bottle opener (bottle) or pull the tab (can). Avoid vigorous shaking; let the beer settle for a few seconds if it sloshes.

Open the beer

Tilt the chilled chalice to a 45° angle. Begin pouring the beer gently down the side of the glass until it's about halfway full. Pause briefly (10–15 seconds) to allow gas and foam to settle. Continue to pour down the center to create a creamy, roughly 1-inch head. The goal is a steady pour that produces a compact, long-lasting foam collar typical of a Stella Artois pour.

Two-stage pour (recommended)

If preferred, pour steadily into a tilted glass and slowly straighten as you fill, finishing with a measured head of about 1 inch (2–3 cm).

One-stage pour (alternative)

Serve immediately while cold. Present the chalice on a coaster. Encourage sipping to appreciate the balanced malt and noble hop character. Discard remaining beer if it warms and tastes flat.

Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice larger strawberries in half. Peel the banana and break it into chunks so it blends evenly.

Prepare fruit

Place the strawberries, banana, and Greek yogurt into the blender jar. Add the honey (or maple syrup) and ground flaxseed if using.

Add creamy elements

Pour in 1 cup of the chosen liquid. Use whole milk for a richer texture, water for a lighter option, or almond milk as the +$1.50 substitution. If you want a thinner smoothie, add an extra 2–4 tablespoons (30–60 ml).

Add the ice cubes to the blender. Secure the lid and blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and evenly combined. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed, then blend another 10–15 seconds.

Check consistency and sweetness. If too thick, add up to 1/4 cup (60 ml) more liquid and pulse to combine. If not sweet enough, add an extra 1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup and blend briefly.

Pour the smoothie into a glass. Sprinkle chia seeds on top if using and serve immediately.
