Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass
Fill a large wine glass (or rocks glass) generously with ice. The glass should be very cold so the drink stays chilled without becoming diluted too quickly.
Add Aperol
Pour 3 parts Aperol over the ice. Example: for one serving using a jigger, use 3 oz (about 90 ml) if you prefer larger pours; adjust proportionally for different total volume.
Add Prosecco
Slowly pour 2 parts chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pouring gently preserves the bubbles and helps integrate the cocktail without foaming over.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a fresh orange wheel placed on the rim or floated in the drink. Serve immediately while chilled and effervescent.
Notes on proportions: The classic Aperol Spritz ratio is 3:2:1 (Aperol:Prosecco:soda). For metric measurements per single serving, a common approach is 90 ml Aperol, 60 ml Prosecco, 30 ml soda. Adjust ice and glass size accordingly.
