Method

Preparation

1

Slice the Ingredients

Thinly slice the onion and mushrooms. Set aside.

2

Prepare the Steak

If not already shaved, slice the steak thinly against the grain.

Cooking

3

Cook the Onions

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are translucent and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

4

Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

5

Cook the Steak

Add the shaved steak to the skillet with the mushrooms. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is cooked through and no longer pink.

6

Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked onions to the skillet with the steak and mushrooms. Drizzle with HP Sauce and mix well to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
