Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer a sugared rim, rub a lemon wedge around the glass rim, then dip the rim into a shallow plate of sugar. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

2

In a cocktail shaker fill with ice about halfway.

3

Add 2 oz Ketel One Citroen, 0.5 oz Blue Curaçao, 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup to the shaker.

4

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and ingredients are well combined and slightly diluted.

5

Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice (use a Collins or highball glass).

6

Top gently with 3 oz Starry (or lemon-lime soda). Pour slowly over the back of a spoon if you prefer a layered look; otherwise just top and stir once gently to integrate.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim and a sprig of fresh mint tucked into the ice.

8

Serve immediately with a straw. Advise the drinker to stir before sipping if a layered appearance was created.
