Hummus

Pita and Vegetables

Method

Prepare Hummus

1

Blend the Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the canned chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water. Blend until smooth.

2

Adjust Consistency

If the hummus is too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

3

Season and Serve

Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning if necessary. Transfer it to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika.

Prepare Pita and Vegetables

4

Warm Pita Bread

If desired, warm the pita bread in a toaster or oven for a few minutes until soft.

5

Cut the Vegetables

Wash and slice the cucumber, carrots, and bell pepper into sticks or rounds. Rinse the cherry tomatoes.

6

Plate the Ingredients

Arrange the hummus, pita bread, and sliced vegetables on a large serving platter.
