Preparation

1

Muddle Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint leaves to release their oils and mix with the sugar. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much.

2

Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the glass. You can also use a lime squeezer for efficiency. Discard the spent lime half. Save the other half for garnish.

3

Add Rum

Pour the white rum over the muddled mint, sugar, and lime juice mixture in the glass.

4

Mix the Ingredients

Use a spoon to stir the mixture well, ensuring the sugar dissolves completely.

5

Top with Club Soda

Fill the glass with ice cubes, then top it off with club soda. Stir gently to combine.

6

Garnish

Garnish your mojito with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint on top for a refreshing presentation.
