Method
Preparation of Espresso
Brew Espresso
Using an espresso machine, brew 2 shots of espresso into a heatproof glass or cup.
Combining Ingredients
Add Hot Water
Pour 6 oz of hot water into the glass or cup containing the brewed espresso, stirring gently to combine.
Incorporate Soda
In a separate glass, mix 4 oz of club soda with 1 tablespoon of simple syrup. Stir gently.
Combine Mixtures
Slowly pour the soda mixture into the espresso and hot water mixture, allowing it to mix naturally.
Garnishing
Add Orange Peel
Gently twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then place it on the rim of the glass for garnish.
