Preparing the Salad

Wash and Prepare the Lettuce

Rinse the woodland gardens lettuce mix under cold water. Shake off excess water and place in a large mixing bowl.

Add the Cheese

Crumble the Asher blue cheese over the lettuce in the mixing bowl.

Slice the Apple

Core and slice the large apple into thin wedges. Add the apple slices to the mixing bowl with the lettuce and cheese.

Add the Pecans

Sprinkle the candied pecans over the salad ingredients in the bowl.

Making the Vinaigrette

Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl or jar, combine sherry vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk or Shake

Whisk together or seal the jar and shake vigorously until all ingredients are well combined and emulsified.

Serving the Salad

Dress the Salad

Pour the prepared sherry vinaigrette over the salad ingredients in the mixing bowl. Toss gently to combine, ensuring all ingredients are coated.
