In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.

For fruit flavors, blend fresh fruit until smooth. For chocolate, melt and mix in. If using Nutella or peanut butter, stir until well combined.

Mix the flavoring ingredient with the base mixture thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
