Muddle the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the sugar and fresh mint leaves. Muddle them together gently to release the mint oils and dissolve the sugar.

Add Lime Juice and Aguardiente

Squeeze the juice from a lime into the shaker, and then add the aguardiente. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the mixture is chilled.

Strain and Combine

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Top it off with soda water and add the bitters on top.
