Preparation

Prepare the Glass

Begin by rimming the mason jar with salt. To do this, take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of the jar to moisten it, then dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it.

Mix the Margarita

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of house tequila, 1 oz of lime juice, 1 oz of triple sec, and 2 oz of sweet & sour mix. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

Serve in the Mason Jar

Fill the prepared mason jar with ice cubes, then strain the margarita mixture from the shaker into the jar over the ice.
