Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Strawberries

Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Remove the stems and hulls, then slice them in half.

2

Juice the Lemons

Roll the lemons on a hard surface to loosen the juices. Cut them in half and use a juicer to extract the juice until you have about 1/2 cup of lemon juice.

Making the Lemonade

3

Blend the Strawberries

In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth. You can strain the mixture through a fine sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.

4

Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, mix the strawberry puree, lemon juice, honey, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.

5

Taste and Adjust

Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired, or dilute with additional water to achieve your preferred taste.

Serving

6

Chill and Serve

If desired, chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.
