Begin by ensuring your coffee maker is clean and ready for use. If using a drip coffee maker, place a coffee filter in the basket.

Prepare the Coffee Maker

Measure 0.5 cups of coffee grounds and place them into the filter or brew basket of your coffee maker.

Pour 4 cups of fresh, cold water into the water reservoir of your coffee maker.

Turn on the coffee maker and allow the coffee to brew. This usually takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on your machine.

Once the coffee is brewed, pour it into your favorite mug. If desired, add 0.5 cups of milk, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and/or 0.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract for flavor.

Use a burr grinder to grind 18g of espresso beans to a fine consistency, similar to table salt.

Attach the portafilter to your espresso machine and brew with 300ml of filtered water. Aim for a shot time of 25-30 seconds.

Pour 150ml of whole milk into a steaming pitcher and heat it to around 150°F (65°C) on the stovetop or using a steam wand.

Using a steam wand, froth the milk until it has a velvety texture and doubles in volume. Tap the pitcher on the counter to break any large bubbles.

Mix in 15ml of vanilla syrup into the frothed milk, giving it a gentle stir.

Add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder to the frothy milk mixture for added flavor.

In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil over medium heat.

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes.

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes to chill it while you prepare the drink.

In a separate glass or cocktail shaker, add the juniper berries. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the juniper berries to release their oils and flavor.

Pour 2 oz of gin over the muddled juniper berries and stir gently to combine the flavors.

Cut the lime in half. Squeeze the juice from one half into the gin and juniper mixture, stirring to combine. Reserve the other half for garnish.

Strain the gin and juniper mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Slowly pour 4 oz of tonic water over the mixture to avoid excessive fizzing.

Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Remove the stems and hulls, then slice them in half.
