Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Glasses

Select four champagne flutes and ensure they are clean and dry.

2

Juicing the Oranges

Juice enough oranges to yield 2 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice. Strain the juice if you prefer a pulp-free texture.

3

Chill the Champagne

Place the champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, or chill in an ice bucket for about 15 minutes.

4

Garnish Preparation

Slice the orange into thin circles for garnish and rinse the mint leaves under cold water. Pat dry gently with a paper towel.

Assembly

5

Combine Orange Juice and Champagne

In each champagne flute, pour ½ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, followed by ½ cup of chilled champagne or sparkling wine. The ratio can be adjusted to taste.

6

Garnish the Mimosas

Add a slice of orange to the rim of each glass and place a mint leaf on top for additional aroma and flavor.

7

Serve Immediately

Serve the mimosas immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors and bubbly fizz. Optionally, provide a small jug of extra orange juice and champagne on the side for guests to top off their drinks.
