Method

Preparation

1

Gather Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients: Tanqueray gin, tonic water, fresh lime, and any optional garnishes such as mint leaves and lime wedge.

2

Prepare the Glass

Take a highball glass and fill it with ice cubes until it is nearly full.

Mixing

3

Pour the Gin

Measure 2 oz of Tanqueray gin using a jigger and pour it over the ice in the glass.

4

Add Tonic Water

Slowly pour 4 oz of tonic water into the glass over the gin and ice, allowing it to mix gently.

5

Squeeze Lime

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the drink. Optionally, you can drop the squeezed half into the drink for added flavor.

Garnishing

6

Add Garnish

For an extra touch, add 5 fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge to the drink.

Serving

7

Serve

Stir gently if desired, and serve immediately with a straw or cocktail stirrer.
