Chicken Strips

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, roughly 1 inch wide.

2

Set Up Breading Stations

In one bowl, add the all-purpose flour mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

Breading

3

Coat the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Shake off excess flour.

4

Egg Wash

Next, dip the floured chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

5

Breadcrumb Coating

Finally, coat the chicken strip in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking

6

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

7

Fry the Chicken Strips

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

8

Drain Excess Oil

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked chicken strips to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serving

9

Plate the Chicken Strips

Arrange the cooked chicken strips on a serving plate. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
