Directions
Prepare the Lavender-Rosemary Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the fresh rosemary sprigs, dried lavender buds, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Simmer the Flavor
Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors. Remove from heat and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Strain the Syrup
After the syrup has cooled, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or jar to remove the rosemary and lavender. Set aside.
Juice the Lemons
While the syrup is cooling, juice the fresh lemons until you have approximately 1 cup of lemon juice. Remove any seeds.
Mix the Lemonade
In a large pitcher, combine the strained lavender-rosemary syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well to combine.
Serve with Soda
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lavender lemonade mixture over the ice, filling each glass about two-thirds full. Top off each glass with sparkling soda water.
