Taco Filling

Method

Taco Filling Preparation

1

Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.

2

Add Onion and Garlic

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until the onion is translucent.

3

Season the Meat

Stir in the taco seasoning, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.

Taco Assembly

4

Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet or on a grill pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

5

Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a generous amount of the taco filling. Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced avocado, and fresh cilantro.

6

Serve

Serve the tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
