Method
Burger Preparation
Form the Patties
In a bowl, take the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, cut the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
Basil Aioli Preparation
Blend the Aioli
In a food processor, combine the mayonnaise, fresh basil leaves, garlic cloves, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Garlic Ghee Fries Preparation
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into even strips for uniform cooking.
Cook the Fries
Heat ghee in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the potato strips and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
Assembly
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a beef patty with melted cheese, a generous spoonful of basil aioli, and a few slices of house-made pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
Serve
Serve the assembled burgers with a side of garlic ghee fries and enjoy!
