Preparing the Ingredients

1

Cook the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. If using sausage patties or ham, cook them until heated through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

2

Scramble the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and beat them with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt over medium heat. Pour in the eggs and scramble until fully cooked, about 3-4 minutes.

Assembling the Sandwich

3

Toast the Bread or Bagel

If using bagels, slice them in half and toast until golden brown. For brioche, toast the slices in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

4

Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of the toasted bagel or brioche, layer the cooked meat of your choice, followed by scrambled eggs and a slice of cheddar cheese. Top with the other half of the bagel or brioche.

Melting the Cheese

5

Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwich back in the skillet over low heat. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
