Two mini Belgian cornbread waffles served with Honey Butter

Mini Cornbread Waffle

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps to remove excess starch.

Prepare the Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Rice

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Simmer and Fluff

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Marinate the Chicken

In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Cook the Chicken

Chop the bell pepper, onion, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the Vegetables

In the same skillet used for the chicken, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

Sauté the Vegetables

On a plate, serve a generous portion of rice, top with sliced chicken, and add the sautéed vegetables on the side.

Plate the Dish

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and add lemon wedges on the side for a fresh zesty flavor.

Chill four champagne flutes or small glasses in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Glasses

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of Peanut Butter Flavored Whiskey and 0.5 oz of Sweet Liqueur. Shake gently to mix.

Mix the Base Ingredients

Add 0.5 oz of Orange Juice to the shaker, and then strain the mixture into a chilled glass. Top with 1.5 oz of Sparkling Wine.

Add Juice and Sparkling Wine

Repeat the mixing process for the other 3 combinations of Peanut Butter Flavored Whiskey and Sweet Liqueur, varying the sweet liqueur for each glass.

Repeat for Other Flavors

Add a fresh orange slice to the rim of each glass. Drizzle a small amount of Peanut Butter Chocolate Drizzle over the top of each drink and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

Garnish the Mimosas

Present the Mimosa Flight on a decorative tray. Enjoy with friends!

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it's ready for baking.

Preheat the Oven

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, cream the unsalted butter until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract to the butter and egg mixture, stirring to combine. Then, add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once the base is baked and cooled slightly, sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg evenly over the top.

In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with a little water to create a glaze. Set aside.

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the grits and cook according to package instructions until thickened. Stir in butter and cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

Prepare Grits

In a skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until shrimp are pink (about 3-4 minutes).

Cook Shrimp

Serve the grits in a bowl, top with shrimp, and garnish with chopped green onions.

Assemble Dish

Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and let rest.

In a bowl, mix waffle mix, beaten egg, and milk until combined. Pour batter onto a preheated waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's instructions.

In another skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat. Add cubed potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook until crispy and tender, about 10-12 minutes.

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
