Limonata Preparation

Juicing the Lemons

Juice the fresh lemons until you have about 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.

Making the Sugar Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely. Set aside to cool.

Mixing the Limonata

In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, cooled sugar syrup, and 4 cups of soda water. Stir gently to mix.

Serving

Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the limonata over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately.
