Directions
Prepare the Spinach
Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Pat dry with a kitchen towel. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add the spinach, and sauté until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, chop the spinach finely and set aside.
Prepare the Artichokes
If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and rinse them under cold water. Chop them into small pieces. If using frozen artichoke hearts, thaw them and then chop.
Mix the Base
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix well until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or a spatula.
Add Ingredients
In the same mixing bowl, add the chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix everything together until evenly combined.
Bake the Dip
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
Serve
Remove the spinach artichoke dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread for dipping.
