Method
Strawberry Puree Preparation
Wash the Strawberries
Rinse the fresh strawberries under cold water to remove any dirt and impurities.
Hull the Strawberries
Remove the green tops from the strawberries using a knife or by hand.
Blend the Strawberries
Place the hulled strawberries in a blender. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Strain the Puree
If desired, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds for a smoother texture.
Lemonade Preparation
Combine Puree and Lemonade
Pour the strawberry puree into the lemonade mixture and stir until well combined.
