Ingredients for Grapefruit Mimosa

Method

Directions for Grapefruit Mimosa

1

Prepare the Glasses

Chill your champagne flutes in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving to ensure your mimosa is refreshing.

2

Juice the Grapefruit

Cut the grapefruit in half and use a citrus juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh grapefruit juice. Strain it if you prefer a smoother texture.

3

Mix the Mimosa

In a mixing pitcher, combine the fresh grapefruit juice and simple syrup. Stir gently to mix.

4

Pour the Ingredients

Remove the chilled champagne flutes from the refrigerator. Pour about 1/3 cup of the grapefruit mixture into each flute.

5

Add Champagne

Slowly top off each glass with approximately 1/2 cup of champagne or sparkling wine. Pour gently to avoid too much fizz.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish each mimosa with a slice of grapefruit on the rim of the glass. Add ice cubes if desired, and serve immediately.
